Split Screen Technology from Mercedes-Benz

The New Mercedes-Benz S-Class vehicles are equipped with a new split view command system. It has an 8-inch display, which allows the driver to keep an eye on the GPS and other informational data, while the passenger simultaneously taps into entertainment-related features, such as a DVD movie.


The two displays are actually on the same screen, but a special filter is used to mask each display that controls what is viewed based on where you are seated.
